I have over 5 years tutoring experience with children from k-5th grade, specializing in students with special needs or who are performing well below grade level. I have been a special education teacher for over 13 years. Being a special education teacher I have extensive experience modifying instruction based on the individual students needs and levels. Reading, math, phonics, spelling, writing. I also have extensive experience working in the home setting on behavior modification with special needs children, and families.
